The process of removing compounds of interest from the plant material. While there are many methods to this process, we soak the hemp in 200 proof alcohol at -40 °C, recover the ethanol in asolvent recovery system to concentrate the oil for further processing.
We use fractional molecular distillation to separate the compounds of interest into various fractions.
The utilize advanced chromatographic equipment to further increase the relative amount of cannabinoids in the end product. We start with an oil that is about 50 percent CBD or CBG and concentrate that up to 90 percent depending on its end use for products.
1. Farm bill compliant distillate ( CBD or CBG)
2. THC free distillate ( CBD or CBG)
4. Nano emulsions (10% water soluble)
Alcohol used at very low temperature to extract the oils, as low as -80 degrees °C (we use it at -40 degrees °C).
A more precise process of distillation, the equipment used for this method allows the separation of individual molecules which results in more pure separations.
We utilize "State of the Art" simulated moving bed technology to separate the compounds of interest and concentrate them simultaneously!
